The Minister of Health, Encarna Guillen said last night during the opening speech of the festivity of Albudeite 2015 the generosity of the residents of the municipality of Albudeite, a town whose name means "little water."
Before officiating the opening speech, the minister had the opportunity to exchange views with the mayor, Jesus Garcia, as well as other representatives from neighboring and outside the Shire River Mula municipalities.
Guillen, who expressed his gratitude for being named herald, signed the book Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Remedies, employer of the town, and encouraged all citizens of the region to visit Albudeite, to enjoy its gastronomy, its people and customs.
During his opening speech, the minister toured the history of this town highlighting the most significant aspects of Albudeite, its patron, its roots, its landscapes, the way of talking about neighbors and literature, extolling figure Soren Peņalver, from which he selected a piece of his collection.
To conclude, Guillen urged people to participate in the festivity, to share these days and enjoy the program of activities organized by the Department of Celebrations of the City of Albudeite.
