The Ministry of Presidency and Development, through the Directorate General for Citizen Security and Emergencies, is advising the City of Albudeite to set up a Group of Civil Protection Volunteers in the town.
This issue was addressed at the meeting held today by the general director of Public Safety and Emergencies, José Ramón Carrasco, the third deputy mayor and councilor for Employment, Local Police, Institutional Relations, Health and Tourism of Albudeite, Diego Férez.
At present, this group has in Albudeite with 15 volunteers who will receive the basic Civil Protection course and will soon be ready to join the mobile surveillance device of Plan Infomur, among other tasks.
The Director General praised the Consistory's willingness to create a group of volunteers and expressed "the determination of the Ministry of Presidency and Promotion to support this step that will give advice, training and the means that we can provide to the extent of availability Current budget ".
