The Autonomous Community finances with 4,566 euros the attention of 12 minors in the Albudeite summer school.
This grant is granted to the municipalities of the Region of Murcia for the provision of services aimed at the reconciliation of work and private life, co-financed by 80 percent by the European Social Fund.
The general director of Women and Equal Opportunities, Alicia Barquero, together with the mayor of Albudeite, Jesús García, visited the summer school of the municipality today and stressed that the Department of Family and Equal Opportunities last year financed the activities of the Summer and Christmas schools in 22 municipalities, according to the requests of the town councils themselves, within the conciliation program carried out by the Community.
In this regard, specified that the General Directorate for Women and Equal Opportunities finances recreational and educational projects for non-school periods intended for children between 3 and 12 years, the expansion of hours in schools, extracurricular activities and babysitting or care services punctual.
The Community will allocate more than 400,000 euros this year to promote the reconciliation of work, personal and family life with direct aid granted to the 45 municipalities.
