The Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries will begin in July the construction of the Albudeite wastewater pumping station (EBAR), to bring the waters of the industrial estate 'Bad Lands' of the town to the treatment plant ) Of the penitentiary center of Campos del Río.
"The businessmen of the polygon will contribute to the environment, as the wastewater will be purified and reused," said the councilor Francisco Jódar, who held a meeting with the mayor of Albudeite, Jesús García Martínez, which was attended by the CEO Of the Water, Miguel Angel of the Love.
The actions, which have already been awarded for an amount of 55,000 euros, will be carried out through the Sanitation and Treatment of the Region of Murcia (ESAMUR).
They consist of installing a medium voltage aerial line, already implemented and placing mechanical devices and improving electrical systems.
For its part, the City of Albudeite has fenced the outside and installed an alarm in the EBAR, to prevent thefts.
ESAMUR expects the pumping station to be operational in September.
Meeting with the mayor of Ojós
On the other hand, the minister also met with the mayor of Ojós, Pablo Melgarejo, and discussed the beginning of the collaboration with the Commonwealth Channels of Taibilla to build a water storage raft for water supply.
Jódar said that to carry out these actions will require signing a collaboration agreement between the Autonomous Community, the City of Ojós and the Commonwealth Channels of Taibilla.
